Coffee contains antioxidants and caffeine, both of which have health and anti-aging benefits. Antioxidants help your body repair damage from free radicals. Caffeine has been shown to help improve symptoms of age related brain problems. Coffee has been shown to reduce the risks of heart disease, diabetes, dementia, colon cancer, cirrhosis, gallstones, parkinson’s disease, and provide relief from asthma, headaches, and provides cavity protection.

Figs are a good source of calcium, fiber, potassium, and antioxidants. They have anti-diabetic properties, lower triglycerides, and are a remedy for bronchitis and ulcers.

Mango has been shown to help with digestion, lower cholesterol, provide vitamin E, improve concentration and memory power, provide iron, help with acne, diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

Cranberries are loaded with antioxidants, and may prevent tumors from growing, or from starting in the first place. Cranberry juice may also increase levels of HDL and lower levels of LDL, the good and bad types of cholesterol.

Chia seed is rich in calcium, protein, and boron.  Helps with hydration, soaks up ten times its weight in water. Easily digestible energy enhancer. Chia is a better source of omega 3 than flax seed. Chia seeds are known as the ‘indian running food’. Ancient Aztec warriors used chia seed during their conquests, at times taking no other food source with them.

Apples provide bone protection, asthma relief, aid in alzheimer’s prevention, lung cancer prevention, colon and liver cancer prevention, and breast cancer prevention. They lower cholesterol, and aid in diabetes management.

Ginger root has been used to treat or prevent ovarian cancer, colon cancer, morning sickness, motion sickness, heartburn, migraines, and menstrual cramps, as well as cold and flu, and a pain and inflammation reducer.
