As we transition from 2012 to 2013 we are still in the midst of growing pains. Since March 2012 when we first hit the market, it's been an interesting year. We've had lots of emergencies, lots of disasters, and some victories as well. We have gotten our products into Mothers Markets in OC, Organic Ave in NYC and Whole Foods in south bay and on the west side of L.A. We also got approval for the southern pacific region with Whole Foods, which will kick in any day now.
To boost our website sales, I have initiated a promotion where all website customers are entered into a drawing each month. Anyone who buys something on our website that month is entered in the drawing and can win product or cash.
I also started recording a series of goofy videos that I've put on FB and You Tube that will bring a little more awareness to us and hopefully give someone a laugh or two, because I am not afraid to act like an idiot. Look for them on FB on Cocomo Joe Foods' page, or on You Tube under joelacroix1.
I am thankful for all the support we have received in 2012 and for all we will receive in 2013. We will still need it. This is a challenging time for me. I've had to change the way I think, they way I act, the way I live, as things are vastly different from the way they were when I was selling real estate.
This has been a difficult change in my life, and some days I wonder if I would have done it had I known how difficult, and all I have to do is read about corporate, conventional food companies, GMO foods, commercial livestock operations, and all the ways our food supply is poisoned, and I feel a strong desire to be part of the solution, and the best way I can do that is to make the cleanest foods I can and offer them to the people who want them.
We have a lot to look forward to, and a lot of work to do. I hope to be able to write in January 2014 about positive changes that have occurred in 2013.
